The Sunday Refill - 7 Links for Your Weekend (11/1/26)
Old habits die hard - we're back!
Seven up...
1) Five key missional trends for 2026 - Phil Knox at the Evangelical Alliance offers five key missional trends to expect in the year ahead.
2) Why are more young people flocking to church? - Sky News did this video piece on the rise in young people attending church, including an interview with Matilda Draper from Love Island. The Guardian also covered growing UK Bible sales in an article this week.
3) What I’d Do Differently If I Were Starting Ministry (and Life) All Over Again - Lots of goodness here - and encouragingly, a few thoughts that felt quite close to the surface in my own heart too! Thanks Scott Sauls!
4) The world, in real time - It's a big old world, but here's a quick way to see a few various different bits of it. You can choose from one of almost 2,000 live webcams - from a robotic warehouse in China to a national park in Kenya, from a busy street crossing in Bangkok to a Laundrette in Russia! Thanks to my friend Chris Howles and his Mission Hits newsletter for the tip.
5) RAYE and the husband comeback - I thought this was interesting from Kezia Martin at LICC.
6) O Lord, My Rock and My Redeemer - Loved singing this 2017 modern hymn from Sovereign Grace Music at a licensing service for a new minister this week.
7) Transparent Dishwasher - What's happening inside? - Regulars will know we like to finish with something 'a little bit different', so here's a guy building a completely transparent dishwasher so we can all finally see what's going on in there (and why the cram technique may well ruin everything). I learnt a lot!
